I was the Assistant Decorator for the HBO Limited Series “The Flight Attendant” with Set Decorator Jessica Petruccelli.
There were lots of fun and fabulous sets that I got a chance to work on, but I think if I had to pick one, Annie’s was my favorite set from this series. Jessica and I worked very closely together collaborating on this epic set which was built from scratch on a stage in Brooklyn.
It was huge challenge and a chance to play with high-design contemporary furniture and decor in a way that I haven’t yet before. Learned so many new vendors as well as engaged in many custom projects for this set.
So it was really cool to see that even Architectural Digest noticed this set and said they loved it!

Another epic set I worked closely together with Set Decorator Jessica Petruccelli on, The Sokolov Estate set was a fun playground of interiors reflecting old school wealth. These were filmed on location at a home in Long Island, but even so we had to do some significant transformations.

The third in the trinity of epic sets I worked closely together with Set Decorator Jessica Petruccelli in collaboration on. We had a huge penthouse apartment to fill with a mix of high design and antiques to reflect the masculine mystery of the enigmatic character Alex.
There were many rooms and specific details shown on camera ( such as the polar bear cub or the complete collection of vintage Playboy magazines) and on top of all the furniture and details I was in charge in finding alot of the very specific scripted artwork that you see throughout the set.
Another fun chance to play with an aesthetic I’ve never really had a chance to do for a set before.
Since we don’t know much about Sabrina’s character, it was a lot of fun fleshing out an imagined backstory and personality for Sabrina through decorating this otherwise empty apartment.

The Briscoe Home started as a location, and then after we resumed filming during COVID it became a build to recreate The Briscoe Home.
In addition to their home I also decorated Bill Briscoe’s various offices.
This is actually the second time I’ve decorated a home for Rosie Perez in two different HBO productions. (the first was in HBO High Maintenance Season 3)

You look at this and you probably think, ok so it is a warehouse with a lot of boxes, whoopdeedoo.
I mean nobody is getting any design awards for a warehouse set, and yet I had so much fun with this set. Also I would like to note this location was completely empty when we started.
I go into great detail here about how I took on the challenge to communicate the fact that this warehouse is located in London, as scripted in all sorts of details I’m sure nobody noticed.

It mostly so dark in here when the camera is in here, nevertheless the story of Buckley’s fake persona is all there in the decoration.

Pretty straightforward a fancy, cold, evil corporate office lobby. Finding a curved couch that would take up the space necessary and still fit was maybe the biggest challenge.
A few other shots of the Unisphere Offices if you scroll right.
It is a brief glimpse, but how could I resist a chance to include Bebe Neuworth in here?
Also all those awards on the console behind her? They are all custom engraved with lots of organizations and honors I had to make up for her.
